Andrew Blasek, DMD
I started working as a dentist at Blasek Family Dentistry in September 2022 after graduating from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. I am passionate about providing high quality care to ensure patients have a pleasant and painless experience. I love the field of dentistry because it is a perfect blend of technical knowledge and patient care that can make an impact on people's lives.
I grew up in Horsham, PA where I met Melissa, my high school sweetheart. We got married in 2019 and now reside in Fort Washington, PA. When I am not in the office, I am always pursuing some type of personal improvement; usually golf or chess, sometimes dentistry. Traveling is another one of my hobbies and I enjoy going abroad to experience other cultures and cuisine.
Prior to pursuing a career in dentistry, I graduated from the University of Virginia as a mechanical engineer. My training as an engineer helps shape the way I approach a patient's case by incorporating effective problem-solving skills. Technology is rapidly transforming the field of dentistry, and I enjoy being on the forefront of the new equipment and techniques.
